Selection Criteria
Selection
will be based on overall high school GPA (minimum of 2.8 in math
courses); class rank; ACT score (minimum of 28), emphasis on math;
personal statement; three letters of recommendation (from teachers
and counselors that address the student’s work ethic, communication
skills, maturity, community involvement, perseverance, and analytical
and creative abilities); and an interview.

1. Can I receive this scholarship for a summer semester?
This program offers support for fall and spring semester only.
2. What do I have to do as an IncREaCE Scholar?
Maintain academic excellence and provide progress reports.
3. Why should I complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)?
Candidates must meet financial requirements to receive this scholarship. Filling out the FAFSA will allow us to know applicants financial need.

4. How will I know if I am awarded the scholarship?
Scholarship recipients will be notified via mail that they have been selected to receive the scholarship. All recipients will be required to sign a contract stating agreement with the requirements for maintaining an IncREaCE scholarship.
5. Can I receive other MU scholarships if I get this scholarship?
Yes, this scholarship does not prevent you from obtaining other scholarships. This scholarship is intended to meet
financial need. Therefore, additional scholarships may reduce your overall financial need, thus reducing the amount of this award.
6. Do I have to fill out any forms or reapply to receive my scholarship the second year?
No, once a student is notified that
he/she is an IncREaCE scholar and
signs the contract, the scholarship is
awarded, as long as the requirements
are fulfilled.
